About PLP: For this race the PLP rules will be a bit relaxed:

Amnesty laps: The first 2 laps will not be monitored from PLP. After this 2 laps everthing should be lined up.

Count of cuts detected: We should be able to 13 laps at each race. Subtracting the first 2 laps 11 laps will remain to be watched by PLP. At this lapcount you will be allowed to get 4 warnings. After the fifth cut or going too wide you have to do the pitlane penalty. Remember: You only get a warning when you do not reduce your speed while off-track or you are off-track less than 1 second.. Meanwhile tested this many times at Spa, and the APP works as intended.

Please note that it will be like written in the RULEBOOK meanwhile:

"If you get a warning because you went off-track by a driving failure (went too wide running off-track, take a turn too close), this warning counts and if you got 4 or more issues like this (exact count set trackwise) you have to do the drivethru penalty. This is valid even you do not gain an advantage and even you didn´t do this at purpose.
If you got a warning and you think you don´t deserve this (got bumped out of the track, trying to avoid an accident, simply spun off the track and receive still a penalty, ... whatever), you have to keep this in mind and subtract it from the total of warnings you received and DO NOT FULFIL the penalty. The chat log will be filtered for the following error message from the app. You have to sent the admins the proof by a replay sequence, this will NOT being done by the admin. If you missed it to send the proof that you didn´t have to serve the penalty you will receive one from your friendly admin.
The app will be delivered with our Simsync and have to be activated and the files within are not allowed to get altered. A violation of these points will be penalized with moving the driver to the last position of the race result."

I hope we will avoid the discussions this way and everyone will be happy.

The mumble server is up and running. And since the tree at netracingeurope.org is working... I changed my DynDNS provider, so you may eventually connect directly in the past?

We cannot praise the reliability of the T300, really. It's good as long it works, but...

I really am close to have my hands on a Clubsport wheel from Fanatec. But € 845,-- (CSW2.5 with the BMW GT2 wheel) needs to be well thought.

It would be intelligent to use the T300 as long it has warranty. And maybe the repaired one is more reliable then.. Hope dies last ;)

My brother just bought a V2.5 base because my csw v1 wasn't functioning normally anymore.
A few years ago Fanatec seemed to suffer more from reliability issues compared to Thrustmaster
It looks though like the tables have turned...

All problems are coming from the TX Wheelbase, this is used widely by Thrustmaster. I guess they constructed it having the 2 years warranty in mind. I heard from the problems that can occur at the CSW1. Guess Fanatec react at the v2 and v2.5 to make the construction more solid.

But I rely at the old wisdom: Only trust your own or at least a community DIY construction. Unfortunately a OSW with a wheel hub and a wheel is about € 1500,- up to 2000,-- . And THIS is surely too expensive for a hobby like this.

BTW: Will get my repaired wheelbase tomorrow.

They changed the complete Motor assembly and the motor shaft mechanism ("TX & T300 Thrustmaster Brushless Motor Assy" and "TX & T300 Shaft mechanism").

Fingers crossed for the future...

Hope the repaired one holds out.
This is often the case with fanatec stuff in the earlier days:
you bought it, it breaks sooner rather than later
it gets repaired: rocksolid

@Wolfgang: I myself drive an Accuforce
like you mentioned in another post about hobbies and expenses
I fully understand that you refuse to spend that much at a hobby
but for me it's the only real thing I can throw my money at
for the rest I'm not a big spender, not a real worldtraveler either so
different strokes for different folks  ;)
