Hi fellow racers,

Recently I checked what is going on in the developer scene regarding plugins for AC (focus on server related stuff).
Obviously the latest update provides more data that can be used by plugin developers (ballast weight is now supported).
There are at least three guys who are quite active in developing plugins, two of them provide their work as open source

I'm confident there will be something useful soon that makes admin work and league management easier. The stracker/ptracker combo is quite OK, but it has it's drawbacks. From the AC forum I understood that the lags close to S/F line are caused by this plugin.
There are some good discussions going on in the forum and Stefano from Kunos is quite helpful too. Of course, they are happy to crowdsource the plugin stuff so that someone else is doing the work for free ;)

Yeah, i also read that maybe neys will be doing a server based stracker version. DidnĀ“t read saying this to himself anyway. But with the possibility of server side plugins all possibilities are open.

I use pdash, it's a replace for the build-in display. Works very well.
